Synergem Emergency Services, LLC

Synergem’s high-availability, fault-tolerant, and intelligent Next Generation 9-1-1 (iNG9-1-1TM) ESInet is designed to be consistent with emerging NENA Functional and Interface Standards (i3).  The iNG9-1-1TM core:

  • Features GeoComm’s Emergency Call Routing Function (ECRF) tightly integrated with Avaya’s Emergency Services Routing Proxy (ESRP) and RedSky’s Location Information Server (LIS), and, where required, Legacy Gateways from RedSky.
  • Supports the ESInet with a Network Operations Center (NOC) manned 7x24 proving end-to-end network monitoring, management, and help desk services.
  • Provides a carrier grade NG9-1-1 framework with 99.99% availability replacing legacy networks that consist of CAMA trunks delivering ANI, remote ALI, and Selective Routing.
  • Enables dynamic, geographical, and logic-based call routing.
  • Supports standards-based NG9-1-1 Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) systems with a manufacturer neutral approach capable of integrating legacy systems as well.
  • Hosts mission critical Next Generation 9-1-1 applications for call-taking, dispatch mapping, media recording, community notification as well as Radio Control over IP (RCoIP) dispatch.

  • Includes built-in contact center applications providing intelligent routing capability within a single PSAP or across an ESInet supporting many PSAPs.

GeoComm

GeoComm is an industry leader in 9-1-1 geospatial systems supplying the geospatial routing engine for Synergem’s iNG9-1-1TM network.  GeoComm provides:

§  Standardized Location-to-Service Translation (IETF RFC5222) for NG9-1-1 i3 ECRF/LVF functional elements and the  software, services, and expertise, required in the creation and management of the geospatial data required for NG9-1-1 geospatial call routing

  • The expertise, services, and software essential in the creation and management of geospatial data required for NG9-1-1 geospatial call routing.
  • 9-1-1 GIS data management software, as well as a GIS Service Bureau for managing regional multi-PSAP GIS data sets for 9-1-1.  
  • A Common Operating Picture Web mapping for agencies participating in a regional ESInet. 
  • Tactical GIS applications for PSAPs and in-vehicle mapping and navigation for mobile emergency responders.

RedSky Technologies, Inc

RedSky has developed a series of required components for the implementation of NG emergency communications solutions.  RedSky supports Synergem’s iNG9-1-1TM network by providing:

  • A Location Information Server (LIS). As a replacement ALI solution, the LIS provides a NENA-compliant ALI data storage and database management system functions and can store and display ALI-type location information in either standard NENA2 of NG IETF PIDF-LO format.
  • A Legacy PSAP Gateway (LPG) to support CAMA and serial connectivity to legacy PSAP systems.
  • A Legacy Network Gateway (LNG) to provide ESInet gateway functionality for carriers and other users requiring conversion of existing CAMA/ISDN-based emergency calls into NG9-1-1 SIP-based calls with imbedded location.
